Attention all diamond buyers and introducing brokers - Currently we got a large amount of INDUSTRIAL diamonds for sale.  Please contact us if you interested in buying industrial diamonds.

Read more about industrial diamonds:

"The market for industrial-grade diamonds operates much differently from its gem-grade counterpart. Industrial diamonds are valued mostly for their hardness and heat conductivity, making many of the gemological characteristics of diamond, including clarity and color, mostly irrelevant. This helps explain why 80% of mined diamonds (equal to about 100 million carats or 20,000 kg annually), unsuitable for use as gemstones and known as bort, are destined for industrial use. In addition to mined diamonds, synthetic diamonds found industrial applications almost immediately after their invention in the 1950s; another 3 billion carats (600 metric tons) of synthetic diamond is produced annually for industrial use. The dominant industrial use of diamond is in cutting, drilling, grinding, and polishing. Most uses of diamonds in these technologies do not require large diamonds; in fact, most diamonds that are gem-quality except for their small size, can find an industrial use. Diamonds are embedded in drill tips or saw blades, or ground into a powder for use in grinding and polishing applications. Specialized applications include use in laboratories as containment for high pressure experiments (see diamond anvil), high-performance bearings, and limited use in specialized windows."

GUNYATE is happy to inform all clients and investors with the following news: Currently we are in the process of setting up a diamond cutting centre. This is a great step for GUNYATE but also for the South African economy - The diamond cutting centre will be set up in Johannesburg or Pretoria - business centre of South Africa and will create employment to a number of people. This will also help us to bring our prices down for polished diamonds. The idea of the cutting facility is that all our unpolished / uncut diamonds that we receive from our mines will be cut / polished locally in South Africa before we export internationally. We will still supply to some specific clients rough diamonds as requested. But this type of requests must first be arranged before with GUNYATE management.

One of the South African mines - for security reasons we can not name the company - was lucky enough to find one of the largest diamonds ever found in South Africa.

The diamond weights around 8120 carats ! and of a light green very rare color..

The previous largest diamond was found in a mine also in Gauteng, South Africa and is 3105 carats called the Cullinan Diamond.  This new diamond is still in labrotories to determine the quality.  This is a very rare finding and definitly a milestone in the South African history.

(Some media has reported that the story was not true but GUNYATE believe the diamond was found and switched with another diamond - for media purposes)
